Your adventure will begin as you arrive at the private reception center, ‘La Hacienda’, in the riverfront town of Sierpe. Here you are met by the captain and your guide for the boat ride to this secluded jungle paradise The water journey will take you through the largest mangrove wetlands system on Central America’s Pacific coast where you’ll have a good chance of spotting monkeys, crocodiles and plenty of birds. As you pass through the river mouth and follow the coast, there’s a chance of seeing dolphins, and even whales on this action packed 90 minute tour. This is all just the beginning.
Upon arrival at the Lodge’s secluded beach you will be met by the “Jungle Limousine” (tractor and carriage) that will take you from the beachfront to the main lodge. During the short ride up you will begin to feel your stress melt away as you immerse yourself in the beautiful Virgin Rainforest and the sounds of nature
The driver will deliver at the reception area where you will immediately begin notice that no detail has been spared in the planning and construction of these magnificent grounds.
Here you will be greeted by the Lodge’s welcoming staff and given a short tour of the immediate grounds, including the community center, restaurants, excursion office, swimming pools and then of course on to your elegant bungalow. It is important to note that all rooms and areas on the property have been carefully decorated with handcrafted furnishings and artwork that work in perfect harmony with nature.
Once you have had a chance to relax and unwind you can make your way to one of the 2 restaurants, the pool front bar or Sunset Margarita Bar. No matter which you chose to enjoy you are guaranteed to be surrounded by arguably one of the most beautiful settings in the world.
