The term "hotel" is appropriate but a better description is "villas". The grounds are expansive and the rooms are 2 to a single edifice with a shared wall. Disbursed in such a way as to offer privacy and a sense of seclusion to the guest.
Despite the nearness to San Isidro's center and all its services & shops, the visitor is drawn due to the pronounced access to nature. The occupancy is good. The primary guest currently is the bird-watcher which, in my opinion, allows for marketing growth to other segments of tourism. The facility is of sufficient quality & grace to appeal to essentially any traveler through Costa Rica.
The entrance road into the facility is asphalt paved to the restaurant and from there continues nearly to the river with a well maintained gravel road. You will initially pass by the professional grade tennis court. The quality of the construction is apparent upon viewing and can be documented for the serious buyer.
The restaurant is an open air and spacious affair with comfortable seating and incredible bird viewing possibilities while dining. The onsite staff are clearly happy to be there and the cuisine is notable.
Driving past the hotel you will come to the entrance to the trail that leads to Costa Rica's highest mountain, Chirripo as well as other eco-tourism attractions. Consequently, the guests are drawn here as a central point for their activities but also will find the hotel is a "destination" in itself.
The pool is situated not far from the rio "" and is surrounded by the well groomed landscaping, fruit trees and Costa Rican jungle, a secluded setting. There are nearly 2 kms of walking trails throughout the property with various rancho style sitting & observing stations.
For the hotel buyer looking to offer the profound feel of genuine Costa Rica and its cathartic appeal to a global clientele, this property is a must see.
