Head 50 miles south for wildlife views as you hike through the lush coastal rainforest at Manuel Antonio National Park, explore the Gulf of Nicoya by kayak, or snap pictures of tropical flora. Afterward, walk underneath a towering waterfall at Pura Vida Gardens and Waterfall 16 miles north. You'll also find nearby bike rentals, zipline tours through the jungle canopy, and horseback riding on the beach.
